I have to open up the pills and just swallow the contents, which is very easy by-the-way.
hint: take them with something to drown out the taste.
It DID take a few days of taking them to notice a difference. Don't be expecting to take

I followed the directions starting my day off with the Super Defense Food which didn't taste bad at all. I mixed it with V8 V-Fusion and it reminded me of the "Green Machine" bottled drink. I took the packet of pills (4 HUGE pills) with breakfast and lunch as directed and drank a lot of water. I had to stop this cleanse after 4 days because I found that I had to use the restroom about every 20 minutes. I started on a Saturday, so at home was it was a minor annoyance, but bearable. The problem came at work. I could not sit through a full meeting and I could not concentrate on my work because I had to get up and use the bathroom so often! To the product's credit, just after the 4 days, I did find that I was starting to eat less and feel a little less sluggish. I'm sure the full 7 days would've yielded better results; I gave this 3 stars due to the bathroom issue.

I only take one every night with a large glass of water however if I overate that day or had a more carbs/junk food than usual I take 2 or 3, but on a regular basis all you need is 1 capsule if you eat a lot of salads, veggies, fruits, etc. I recommended this product to my friends and they swear by it as well.
