You dont need to open up a whole 2 liter container that will go bad in a few days if you only want to drink one or two glasses. The juice boxes have just the right amount of juice and they are convenient because you dont need to carry a seperate liquid to reconstitute powder with. Its ready to drink right from the box and even comes with the straw. (Tetra Brik Pak just means the classic juice box shape you are all used to)
Kids will barely, if at all, notice the difference between this cherry flavor and a regular juice box. I tasted both cherry and the fruit punch flavor, and they are both similar. They both taste almost like apple juice. This is the best tasting flavor out of all the flavors, in my opinion, though it seems like pedialyte has done a great job with all the new flavors for these juice boxes, so I would bet that all of them taste like regular juice. The containers are just the right amount of fluid, in my opinion. They are all ready to go - no mixing or reconstituting required, and although no refrigeration is necessary, it certainly tastes better if you do.
This product says pack of 16, and you should be aware that this means 16 of the individual juice boxes total, which means 4 packages with 4 juice boxes in each package.
If you prefer to reconstitute your own, pedialyte also has the little powder packs you can mix in, although that requires you use a measured amount of liquid. These are all set to go and I highly recommend this version.
