Especially if you want to avoid a bunch of stimulants and garbage that is in other "fat-burners". I can honestly say that this does boost fat loss. No miracles, but it's more effective than diet and exercise alone.... Just don't expect to lose weight if you plan to pop a few of these before you sit down on the couch with a bag of potato chips.
It's effective with all diets, but I have noticed that it seems to really ramp up the fat loss on a lower-carb diet.

Planetary Herbals Full Spectrum Rhodiola Rosea Extract Review

(More customer reviews)This product fits the Wikipedia description of increasing energy and mental performance although its composition is unexpected (more on that below). It provides me a boost of positive energy but only slightly and not long-lasting.
The studies don't show a notable nutritional benefit, but Wikipedia confirms that rhodiola rosea is also effective in treating clinical depression. A boost in energy and mental alertness would help battle depression but then I think much larger dosages would be needed.
Suggested use per container is 2 tablets twice daily between meals. For me, the effect of the 2 tablets is good but doesn't last until the next meal, and as yet I haven't tried taking more than 4 per day.
They claim this is a product to take in the morning and early afternoon since it might interfere with sleep (unless you work the third shift). I don't take this warning seriously because the effect has not been long-lasting. The strength of a particular brand particular Rhodiola Rosea is impossible to determine although the composition of ingredients is given.
The unexpected composition is worth noting. Per this product: "Combines an extract standardized to 0.8% salidrosides and 0.8% rosavin with a whole root extract, for a complete spectrum of rhodiola constituents"
This departs from the natural standardized amount of 3 percent rosavins and 0.8% to 1% salidroside, because the naturally occurring ratio of these compounds in Rhodiola rosea root is approximately 3:1.
In other words, all the studies that definitely show Rhodiola rosea root is effective use a 3:1 ratio and this product uses a .8:.8 or more precisely a 1:1 ratio. The studies used a 100 mg tablet. Planetary Formulas uses a 327 mg tablet.
With its 327 mg tablet, Planetary Formulas provides only 86.7% of of rosavin when compared to the standard 100 mg tablets of the studies. Planetary Formulas gives us a bigger pill but slighly less rosavin. Why?
Although we get 86.7% of the rosavin we expected, we get 262% of the salidrosides per dosage as we expected. (I did the math.) Again, why?
Their 327 mg tablets might seem like added value over the standard 100 mg tablet upon which all the studies are based. Also they state, "with a whole root extract," and the fact is that 28 compounds have been identified in Rhodiola rosea. Possibly their bigger tablet contains more of these 28 compounds, but I have no way to be certain about that.
I can't say what the motivation was for creating a product with this ratio. I am tempted to infer that the missing rosavin costs more than the added salidroside. After all this thinking about it, I recognize that the price is favorable per tablet anyway.

Source Naturals Resveratrol Review

I can not make any claims that this extract of grapes will give you any life extension.
But, after reading much literature on the french paradox, for the cost of approx 20 cents per day I think that taking resveratrol could be a worthy investment if future studies prove that Antioxidant Supplements are modulators of increased lifespans.
I have taken other manufacturers including Paradise Herbs and Jarrow Synergy.
Read the recent Harvard study and the NYTs article on Aging Drugs, looks like Resveratrol is very good for me.
Each Cap Yields approx 10 milligrams of Resveratrol.
Of course, before taking any health supplements, I strongly suggest you inform your health care advisor.
Now, I've upped to three Resveratrol doses per day.

I am healthy but my doctor simply told me that after 40 the metabolism starts to slow down rapidly. Based on my own research, the metabolism slows between the ages of 20-40 years by 40%. I have gained 4 pounds since 2006 and although that is not a lot of weight to gain, it is the slow metabolism that is causing weight gain and over the years it will build up. I already eat well, so there isn't a whole lot I can do in that area and taking supplements will help me.
7-Keto did not give me a buzz and it did not cause me to crash. It made me feel NORMAL. I haven't felt normal in years where my energy is concerned. Without 7-Keto I would always become extremely tired around 1:00 and wind up sleeping half my afternoon away or being grouchy because I was tired. For the 30 days I took this I did not take one nap at all and was able to actually hang out more with my 13 year old nephew. I felt like a new person and I felt like I had so much more time in the day (since I was not sleepy or tired) to do the things I need to do. I didn't notice any weight loss, but I didn't care and probably if I took it longer I would begin to lose weight. I didn't take any in July and I am feeling it. (More customer reviews)Someone suggested (after seeing rainforest remedy topic on Dr. Oz) that I try this as an anti-inflamitory for arthritis and recurring muscle strains in my arm. For me it's worked wonderfully. I also suffer from psoriasis and it helps some with that too so that tells me it does impact the immune system. I use the cat's claw daily one in the morning and two at bed and it really helps me with stiffness and pain. I haven't used my Alieve or Tylenol really at all since I started this. I did not expect it to make that much of a difference but I have been pleasantly surprised. I will say that the very first tablet I took did make me feel a little funny, warm temperature and tingling skin... that was only the very first time though. Even if that was an ongoing side effect, it wouldn't deter me from using it.

Astaxanthin will preserve your olive oil if you put a drop or two into it. Yes, it will turn red or yellow, however if you have a good Astaxanthin product this what you should expect.
After using this product for a couple of weeks, I noticed colors were vivid. This may not be your experience however.
