Buried Treasure - Prenatal Plus Dha Complete, 16 fl oz liquid Review

Buried Treasure - Prenatal Plus Dha Complete, 16 fl oz liquid
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love this prenatal vitamin. I originally purchased this liquid prenatal vitamin because of my first trimester morning sickness. Pills just triggered my stomach sensitivity. It proved greatly beneficial. I'm now in my 5th month and am still taking it because I have come to rely on it. I will probably stay on it till I stop nursing. It helps my over energy level and well being. I can tell when I have forgotten to take it because I get run down. It's readily absorbable so I get the kick I need very quickly. I love that it also includes the DHA, folic acid and "pregnancy herbs" that I would normally have to get in another pill. I do add calcium and COQ-10 to my regime though. This is my third pregnancy and I wish I would have found this sooner. One bottle lasts about two weeks if you take the recommended 2 Tablespoons a day. I split the dose in two and take 1 Tablespoon twice a day. You can find on sale or on the internet for about $15/bottle, which is a cost of $30 a month which is very reasonable for a "good" natural prenatal vitamin. It's the best vitamin, mineral, herb blend that I have found. I highly recommend it.

Olympian Labs Aspiring Mother Multivitamin Review

Olympian Labs Aspiring Mother Multivitamin
Average Reviews:

Aside from having the beneficial daily supplements and folic acid, the Guaifenesin in the vitamin really does its job. Being able to track your cervical mucous is the best way to know when your highest chance of conceiving is. When you have more cervical mucous, the sperm stay healthier until they reach the egg. Another benefit to having more cervical mucous is you can really track your fertility. It was a little shocking to me to see so much CM, but it really helps!
I will say, the vitamin has a bit of a bad aftertaste, but it goes away shortly and doesn't stick with you for a long time like some vitamins. :)
I would strongly recommend this product to anyone trying to conceive, especially in conjunction with tracking your fertility! Blood Builder Review

I'm pregnant and was told that my iron was low. I tried traditional iron pills (ferrous sulfate) and even if I ate food with them I would feel very sick to my stomach or even throw-up. These pills are food-based and much easier to absorb. I can take them without any other food and still feel just fine. From what I understand they also absorb much better being food-based as well. These have been great for me!

Integrative Therapeutics Prenatal Forte, 180 Capsules Review

Integrative Therapeutics Prenatal Forte, 180 Capsules
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Wife of account holder writes:
I have used Integrative Therapeutics Prenatal Forte for both pregnancy and nursing. All the vitamins are derived from plants. They are natural and not lab created. The calcium is real calcium, not chalk. These are very high-quality vitamins!
There are some things you should be aware of, though. Since these are high-quality and derived from plants, there are more pills to take per day. It's very difficult to compact real food into a tiny pill! The instructions say to take 2 pills 3x a day for a steady intake of vitamins throughout the day. That's 6 pills a day. A bottle of 180 capsules will only last a month (30 days), so buy in bulk to avoid ordering these every other week.
While I was pregnant, I could not take these on an empty stomach because it would make me feel nauseous. Then again, what could I eat that wouldn't make me feel nauseous while pregnant! I say that as a warning to make sure they are eaten with food in case of sensitivity like I had.
Because of the iron content, like with all prenatal vitamins, my stools were black and difficult to evacuate. As long as I ate fruit (e.g. such as an orange) each day or every other day, then there was no problem.
I hope this helps! Congratulations!

One A Day Women's Prenatal With DHA Vitamin 90 Day Supply

I have been taking these for over 2 months now (pre-pregnancy). The two things that I have seen people complain about with pre-natals is that they cause nausea and/or a fishy taste. I have had neither so far, and these meet all the vitamin doses my doctor recommended.

I have bought Rainbow Light Food-Based Calcium for years. It actually has Magnesium in it also which we need.I can highly recommend this product because I've taken it for over 10 years; this is a food quality supplement and because it's food based, it's easier to digest and assimilate. Solgar - Prenatal Nutrients Review

Solgar - Prenatal Nutrients

I've taken these vitamins all through my pregnancy and since I'm breastfeeding, I continue to take them. I compared these to many other when I was searching for a prenatal vitamin and really liked what I saw. They are more balanced than others and I feel you really get your money's worth. I was a little anemic and I took these according to the directions and then Flordix Herbal Iron Supp (sometimes the liquid and sometimes the tablets) to help boost me up. Solagr makes tops quality product and I would recommend them again and again!

Nature Made Folic Acid 600 mcg with DHA - 300 Softgels Review

Nature Made Folic Acid 600 mcg with DHA - 300 Softgels
Average Reviews:

I bought these because plus-sized women can often use "extra" folic acid during pregnancy, beyond what the average prenatal vitamin provides. I like that they're from a reputable company, but even more than that, I love their tiny size. I've had a bit of trouble with morning sickness and these don't exacerbate the problem AT ALL, going down easily and staying put! I highly recommend these supplements.

My kids love these vitamins. I had originally bought them for my 6 year old who hates gummies and fruit-flavored anything. I had no trouble getting these in her. And then my 4 year old refused to take her gummies in favor of these. They are a little gritty to me, but the kiddos don't seem to notice. Wish they came in a bigger package.

New Chapter Ginger Honey Tonic Review

New Chapter Ginger Honey Tonic
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This was one of my favorite products to take during pregnancy! I've been taking the Ginger Honey Tonic from New Chapter since I found out I was pregnant. I had some pretty bad nausea in the beginning and this was incredibly helpful to keep nausea at bay. However, that wasn't all this product did for me. I also had a great deal of heartburn throughout the pregnancy and just taking a few teaspoons of the Ginger Tonic helped alleviate the heartburn almost instantly. It is also perfect for aiding in digestion which is really helpful during pregnancy. I definitely recommend this product to anyone pregnant or not. My husband uses this product for digestion and heartburn also and loves it!

Twinlab Pre-Natal Formula Review

Twinlab Pre-Natal Formula
Average Reviews:

My wife used these through both of her pregnancies and our son and daughter came out normal so they must have worked. I picked these vitamins because they are capsules which are better absorbed by the body. Many of the vitamin tablets out there don't break down enough in your digestive system to let the vitamins be absorbed so you are basically paying for nothing.

Nature's Plus Hema-Plex Review

Nature's Plus Hema-Plex
Average Reviews:

When I received my order, I was surprised and disappointed to find that the softgels are to be taken 3x/day. I thought I was getting 90 tablets = 90 day supply. Nope, it's really a 30 day supply for $16, when I could could have bought a 30 days supply of regular tablets (not softgels) for $10 or less. But, since this is the first time taking an iron supplement, I decided this was a good thing since I can adjust my own dosage. I'm going to start with 1x/day to be sure I tolerate it well and then work up to the recommended 3x/day. I took my first softgel earlier today with lunch and experienced no adverse effects whatsoever.
