(More customer reviews)Have never been a big meat-eater, but cut back even more a few months ago. I began supplementing my diet with more beans/legumes, but was not feeling nutritionally satisfied, and realized I was not getting enough protein. Did a little research, and discovered that hemp was ideal for meeting protein requirements, and according several articles I read, it has many other nutritional and health benefits as well. I purchased the Nutiva hemp protein powder in conjunction with the Better Than Milk "Rice" (to avoid over use of soy). According to directions for both products, I mix 4 tablespoons hemp protein and 2 tablespoons of BTM, in water. It mixes easily in a regular plastic shaker, and I don't even have to use the "de-clumping" attachment that fits inside the shaker. It's just Shake-N-Go! This combination has been the perfect way to start my day. I was concerned about the taste, as some reviews I have read rated the taste of hemp very low. I can't speak for other brands, but the finely ground Nutiva hemp powder has a mild nutty flavor, and I LOVE IT. From what I've read, hemp does not contain oligosaccharides (which commonly causes "gastric distress" with soy proteins), and I have not experienced any bloating with the hemp and rice milk combo. I am happy to start my day with something both nutritious and delicious, and thank goodness I don't have to use the electric blender (one less thing to wash). Also, the Amazon price on the Nutiva Hemp Protein and the Better Than Milk Rice can't be beat, and both qualify for free shipping. FANTASTIC!!!

I'm really glad I bought nutritional yeast flakes because I can add it to all my raw vegan dishes for added flavor and texture. It makes everything taste cheesy and rich, and it's super nutritious and very affordable. A little goes a long way. I can make raw zucchini taste like macaroni and cheese! I can't wait to make cheesy kale chips in my dehydrator. I have had them before and they taste just like cheezits (but they are raw, green and healthy!)
I know I'm getting my B vitamins when I consume nutritional yeast because it makes my pee bright yellow.

Amazing Grass Green Super Food , 150 Vegetarian Capsules Review

(More customer reviews)I am a registered nurse and have seen so many people diagnosed with cancer in the past few years, which is why I started taking Amazing Grass daily. I try to eat healthy in general, but it is hard for me to eat the recommended servings of green leafy vegetables. I can honestly say that I have had more energy, craved less junk food, and gotten sick less. I know that veggies help boost your immune system, and I haven't gotten sick even though I'm exposed to illness on a daily basis (I work as an ER nurse- we see a lot of influenza, gastroenteritis, viral respiratory infections, etc). I used to take acidophilis, but this product contains probiotics, so I save money by not having to buy those anymore.
What really amazes me about Amazing Grass is that one can see the color difference between these capsules and grocery store brands. Amazing Grass is actually dark green, and if you open it up it smells very "grassy", while the grocery store brands are almost white in color due to the lack of phytochemicals and nutrients. I would recommend this product who wants to improve their general health and well being, and especially those who are want to prevent cancer. Also, the nutrients in this product are very beneficial if you are pregnant.
Another bonus: this product is half the cost of a similar product (Juice +), but performs just as well, if not better! I've convinced my entire family to switch over and they love it!

It can be mixed into liquids or other foods, or just consumed straight. The yeast itself is sort of a fine brown powder. The flavor is hard to describe -- it's slightly like the "dust" you get on your fingers from eating cheese doodles -- but I find it tasty. Bear in mind that this stuff is different -- both in texture and nutritional makeup -- from nutritional yeast flakes. The latter, as the name indicates, comes in a flaky form and contains different nutrients and vitamins. I use both of them, because each product has nutrients that the other does not.

Berry Splash Energizing Drink Mix with Acai by Garden Greens - 23.5 Ounces Review

(More customer reviews)I've tried various nutritional products touting Acai content, but this is, by far, the most TREATastic of the bunch. I'll let someone else confirm the active level of the ingredients or processing purity. All I can say is that this tastes fabulous, and I look forward to shaking it up to have with my protein snack between meals.
Very intense purple color. Clean fruity taste. The Acai's odd "olive" taste doesn't show through as strongly as Mona Vie (this tastes way better). If you want PURE Acai, this isn't it. But this certainly is a delightful product, and it makes me happy.
If you're tired of healthy supplement powders that taste like crap, switch to Berry Splash. (I keep two in the pantry so I don't run the risk of running out. No kidding.)
And on extra stressed up days, I add a punch of pure acai juice to it. It spoils the taste, but it's a nice pick-me-up and free-radical killer. (Pure Acai by itself tastes icky.)
Try it. Enjoy it. (But don't spill it on your clothes and wipe it up fast if it gets on your countertop. This stuff stains.)

1) Has to be in liquid or lozenges form for maximum absorption.
2) The higher the concentration, the better for my money and health.
3) The more its resveratrol sources, the better its quality is.
4) Tasty or at least not repulsively / medicinal taste.
I like the number of 4Resveratrol sources and its concentration when compared to other liquid / lozenges R~ products, hence I settled for this one. Needless to say, it met all my aforementioned criteria too. But as with all high potency liquid supplements, they're way more perishable than pills/capsules. For this item, it's recommended lifespan after opening (and in the fridge) is about 30 days. This is the trade-off.

(More customer reviews)I personally know several people who recently tried this new 100 percent mangosteen juice. The juice is "Mangosteen Queen" sold at the mangosteenjuice.ws that is similar to the Dynamic Health Gold mangosteen.
These individuals report higher energy levels probably due to sleeping better and disappearance of pains they have had prior to drinking these type of mangosteen juices.
One even received comments of looking ten years younger without soliciting for it.
I for one lost my suceptibility to allergy due to pollen in the fall; something I have had for many decades. I must admit that I only drank this pure mangosteen for maybe at most 3 days at a time for perhaps 4 times since August due to cost. Drinking it even inconsistently at 1/2 to 2/3 cup a day has its rewards apparently.

(More customer reviews)This is the only fiber I've ever tried that seemed palatable and you can sprinkle this fiber on any food. It actually tastes really good even right out of the container. The scent reminds me of freshly baked bran muffins with honey and butter. It is that good!
The unique lid has a perforated section that allows you to sprinkle the fiber on foods. To take out a tablespoon, just unscrew the lid.
You can mix a tablespoon of this delicious fiber into your protein drinks or morning fruit juice. It adds a little texture to protein drinks, but does not really thicken the drink. So, I think it is absolutely the perfect fiber addition because it is so easy to drink.
Eventually (after you drink or eat this product), this product will absorb up to 5 times its weight in water, so you might notice you are slightly thirstier. Drinking extra water helps and they recommend that you start off using half the recommended serving the first time you try this fiber blend.
Ingredients:
Organic Flax (5,200 mg), Date Fiber (3,200 mg), Prune Fiber (933 mg), Barley Fiber (200 mg), Psyllium Husk (200 mg), Ginger (67 mg), AOP Complex (200 mg) conatins: Rice Fiber, Beet Fiber, Chick Pea, Acacia, Acerola, Apple Pectin, Fennel, Watercress, Carrot Fiber, Fig Fiber, Capsicum, Alginic Acid, Dulce Fiber, Horehound, Hyssop, Bayberry, Kale, Cabbage, Kelp and Wild Cherrybark.
