(More customer reviews)This is a general review on pectin as well as a specific review of Apple pectin which is the best tasting of all of the pectins. If you are having circulation problems I would certainly give pectin a try as it has the ability of scraping the fat (plaque) off of the walls of your arteries. In Europe and elsewhere there is the custom of eating fruit, especially apples at the end of the meal. Apples, mangos, guavas, citrus and some other fruits have pectin which will do it for you but you can add the powder to cereals, pancakes, smoothies, etc. - if you do not eat thee above fruits.Grapefruit is the cheapest and the most bitter of the pectins.
My fingers and hands use to fall asleep at night and after I found out I had high colesterol I resisted medication and instead started in on eating pectin in my foods which worked. I use pectin and lethicin on a regual basis.

Grape Seed Complex with Resveratrol Review

(More customer reviews)I picked-up Spring Valley Resveratrol 80 capsules (Vit C 60 mg, Red Wine Complex 300 mg) from WalMart after reading online that it has same properties as drinking red-wine which boosts HDL and is good for overall health, since I don't want to drink wine to get this benefit.
Anyway, I took one capsule daily for about 2.5 months and I had my blood work done after that and to my surprise my HDL was 50, it was never close to 50 previously. It was always aroung 39-40. And I am pretty sure my life-style and food intake during those 3 months have been very normal, neither I consumed excessive cholestrol foods nor I avioded them completely. I think this product works.
I would say try any product of Resveratrol. Don't go by the bogus sites that claim only some brands are good. Those sites I am sure are funded by those brands.

(More customer reviews)After a month of 2 capsules a day, my BP came down >5 points for systolic and diastolic. I plan to continue using this product. There are so many variables in high blood pressure, that it's impossible to predict who will benefit from this one. But, it is very reasonably priced, the capsules are small, so give it a try!

Instead of receiving this product in three to four days, no matter where I have ordered it from so far, the shippers reasonable amount of time has been 7 to 20 days. I will find another product to use.

(More customer reviews)I have been using the antioxidant Grapenol for the last eight years. My doctor back then recommended Solaray and I have kept with this brand.
Grapenol is purported to enhance the effectiveness of vitamins C and E. So, I take one 100mg capsule of Grapenol twice weekly.
Grapenol is high in Proanthocyanidins, a natural bioflavonoid found in many herbs, fruits and vegetables. Proanthocyanidins have strong antioxidant properties, and function in supporting the body's connective tissues and capillary blood vessel system. There is no way of me knowing how much good these supplements actually do ... Just to be sure, I have my servings of fruits and vegetables every day!
(I also take 100 mcg of Selenium as an added antioxidant, every day).
All's well so far :)

(More customer reviews)I have had hypertension for most of my adult life. I have taken prescription drugs for the problem for most of that time as well. About two years ago my doctor helped convince me to start taking better care of myself and to lose weight and exercise more. Oh, he has been telling me that for years, but his heart was truly never in it in my opinion. His strongest point in convincing me came when he finally insisted on seeing me every 6 months for a blood pressure "check", in order for me to continue getting the same med's that I had been taking successfully for over 25 years. Not really wanting to be part of his vast entourage on such a schedule that keeps him enjoying a life of lobster and cracked crab, I decided to start exercising more, eating better, and trying some new supplements that studies have shown to be of benefit for high blood pressure.
I came across quite a few articles about research into Lycomato as an antitoxin, as well as a benefit for high blood pressure. Lycomato, a complex containing the root benefit Lycopene, the major carotenoid found in the tomato, and that which gives the tomato its typical red color, is an important antioxidant with a unique ability to inactivate or "quench" free radicals that can damage our cells. The research and studies on its many advantages are easy to find on the web and most impressive indeed. However I decided to try it strickily for the benefit it offers as a possible blood pressure reducer. Although I have been exercising now for some time, and still taking my regular med's, I feel I can gauge pretty well the benefit of the Lycomato singularly for it is my latest and only addition to my regiment. I bought this very same brand on another online site that was a little cheaper than Amazon (by a couple of bucks only), and are on my third month with it. As far as my calculations are concerned, this Lycomato is definitely having a positive effect on my BP. I decided to take a reading about 3 times a week at different times of the day for a more accurate measurement after starting it. And then compared it to the average I was getting before. As far as I can figure, the Lycomato has lowered my diastolic number, (the lower one) by an average of 5 to 7 points. (I don't pay much attention to the high one, it fluctuates a lot, and is not as important). Not at all bad for a regiment only 3 months old. This average of a 6 point drop has has been very consistent. And since the price of this supplement is very reasonable, I will be continuing to take it. Trust me when I tell you that I have tried lot of other supplements that didn't seem to have any effect at all, never mind a 6 point average. This Lycomato is as safe to take as eating tomatoes, and I have noticed no side affects with it whatsoever. I am going to continue a regimen with it. And if you suffer from hypertension and either wish to supplement your prescription drugs, or handle it entirely naturally, I highly recommend Lycomato. You may not have the same success as I did with it, but you have nothing to lose in my opinion. You may even fair better. If you buy it on Amazon, buy two bottles at a time and make the shipping free. I give it a high recommendation...

It contains the best kind of resveratrol (transresveratrol), mixed with the sources that it comes from; grape skins and grape seeds. Resveratrol is typically made from grape skins and grape seeds. My family line has cardiovascular problems but I have found this to be the only resveratrol product that actually makes a difference in my health.

Your first fried egg with this oil will tell you why grapeseed oil is the frier's choice of oils. There's no waxy taste. For that reason alone, your first italian vinergrette will blow you away, light and tasty. Hey, I might eat more salads this way.
Your first french fry will tell you why you should use this oil; the 400+ degrees to sear the outside and not soak into the potato. The oil doesn't get a "burnt" taste like some others. After frying fish, I can filter the oil and not even know it was used to fry fish.
As if you needed more reasons, the biggest one of all: grapeseed oil matches Fish oil in Omega 3's and 6's. When you don't like that fish oil burp, use grapeseed oil. Did I mention it has no taste, at all.
I'm a believer in this oil. My LDL's are down and HDL's are up. My Heart thanks you. My eyesight thanks you.
One last point about the purple bottle. It has a pop-top to dispence the oil. So, you can use as little or as much as you need. I keep mine on the stove to remind me I can have some whenever I need oil in cooking. Because the oil is good for me, I use it more often.
Now, I just needed to convince myself to add a drop on my hands to fix those dry cracked fingers. Surprise, surprize: It worked better than I imagined. What else can I used this OIL for?
There is a down side to all this good. It's not the cheapest oil to cook with. But hey, I'm still using it for the "lack" of taste, high frying temperature, and most of all, for what my doctor likes about what it's done to my LDL/HDL numbers and improved eyesight (up to 20/40 from 20/200). So, it might be a few dolars more. I think I'm worth it.
