Along with that I spoke with our vet who stated that home cooked meals are ok but to ensure our pup had enough calcium and omegas in his diet every day. I purchased Solgar's flax oil and came up with a good, healthy recipe using this, olive oil, vitamins, calcium, etc. I'm happy with Solgar's flax oil for its purity and consistency. He's been on it for almost a year and so far so good.
