My family uses Wellness formula at the onset of a cold and never get sick. I only give it to my baby if she is getting sick to boost her immune system. If I remember correctly, they recommend using 3x per day if your child is sick and about 1x day for everyday use. As for taste, it's a bit herbal and minty, so I would suggest mixing it with juice if your kid refuses it. Quite honestly, you should just use it when your kid is getting sick and stick to a good vitamin for daily use. This is an excellent product for kids and the adult version is equally good. It's a household staple for me and hight recommend it.
