Not sure why another reviewer was taking 12 pills at a time!--I don't think I would be able to sleep for a week if I took that many at once! The 20-40mg of natural caffeine per capsule is designed to maintain energy and alertness, not give a quick burst-and-crash like taking a 200mg caffeine pill. I find one of these along with one Green Tea capsule provide a better "wake-up" in the morning versus just popping some straight caffeine.
