I compared the ingredients and nutrition facts to the ones my doctor prescribed and was shocked at the 'extra' stuff added to my prescription. These had all of the same nutrients in the best form for our body to absorb (friend said our body absorbs a certain form of vitamins better than another) but it didn't have all of those hard to pronounce extras that are used for the capsule and who knows what but weren't there for any health benefit. I can't say it is due to the vitamins or just that this is my 3rd child and I am older now, but I feel better during this pregnancy (6mo in and time I have caught anything was a 24hr stomach bug which is impressive during cold and flu season) and this is the first time I do not have an iron deficiency. Again, I don't know if it has anything to do with these vitamins in particular but I have no complaints and actually look forward to taking them because I really feel like they keep me and my baby healthy. In the end, why take added chemicals when there is a version out there without them?
