I've tried other Sam-e tablets; some messed with my digestive system, and most just didn't work. There are a few without gluten, milk and other allergens, but this one doesn't bother my system.
But, I have found that the Natrol Sam-e works for me like no other.I have been able to think clearer and get things done that I couldn't before. It also works better than the prescription antidepressants I was given (Welbutrin and Savella). I even went off of it to see if the improvement was from some other source, but it proved to be the source of my feeling better each time.
Also, many of the Sam-e tablets tell you to take them at least an hour before eating, on an empty stomach. I take Natrol brand with food, as directed. This really works for me.
I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lyme disease an inner ear/balance disorder and "stuck in a migraine".
I won't buy any other brand. I just wish Amazon had it with free shipping or especially with subscription (it is difficult to find in stores).
