(More customer reviews)I had purchased this product through another vendor, at first skeptical, but soon found out that I was very, very wrong about my preconceived notions regarding anything "herbal" or close to. I'm a returning Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, and my health had started to fade due to heavy metal and chemical toxicity (mercury, vaccine compounds, etc). I was getting sick all the time due to my immune system being out of whack. I started taking this stuff on a regular basis, and I'm coming up on a month using it now, and what a difference it's made! I haven't been sick after about the 2nd week of using it, and any sickness symptoms that I had just went away. Then I noticed that my body was trying to "detox" itself, which is a very scary process if you've never gone through with that.
I'm recommending that anyone with health concerns just try it like I did. I was needing another bottle of this stuff, so I was surprised to find it on here. It looks like a new product for Amazon, so now I have an easier way to order it.

Once I started administering the "iFlora Probiotics For Kids Powder" as per the instructons on the bottle, my kids illnesses dropped to just some simple coughs and sniffles. I also noticed that my kids recovered faster. Someone who works in the healthcare field, suggested that I add the Colostrum formula "Transfer Factor Classic" (one capsule a day per child) to the "iFlora Probiotics For Kids Powder". She told me that the combination has kept the kids in her family healthy. I started my kids on the combination, as per her suggestion, and the results have been even better. By this time, last year, my kids had been out of school about three times (a total of about 7 days each). This year, thus far, they have not been out of school. Also, for some reason, their attention span has improved since I added the Colostrum formula "Transfer Factor Classic". I've also thrown in a good children's multi-vitamin (B.J's Children's Multivitamin) to their diet for good measure.
UPDATE on October 15, 2009: If you can't afford either type of supplements for your kids, you may want to consider the cheaper alternatives for kids. They are out there, and probably just as good. I've switched to cheaper children's brands of the probiotic/acidophilus and colostrum. They work well, and my children continue to do well health-wise. Which one's did I switch to? Nature's Way Primadophilus for Kids (cherry flavor), and KAL Dinosaur Colossal Colostrum (chocolate).

(More customer reviews)I want to start out by saying that I own stock in a company (Clifton Mining Co) that owns 23% stake of American Biotech Labs (ABL). It wasn't until after I bought the stock that I found out about ABL and its products. I visited their website and I became very curious about their products, so I decided to give it a chance.
I did not receive a flu shot this season and I wanted to see how I did this winter. I started taking 1 1/2 tsp of silver biotics each day starting in October. To date, I have not had a cold or the flu, despite my wife being sick three times. I should also mention that my wife did get a flu shot, but she is currently suffering from the flu.
I have three kids and they also have been sick several times each. I have been exposed to each of them and yet I seemed immune from catching their sickness. In the past, it seems as soon as one family member gets something, it would go right through the rest of us. So far, I've been able to avoid catching what the rest of the family had.
I started out skeptical that this product would actually work. Trying it has indeed converted me, I'm a true believer now. This coming year, I will purchase enough for my whole family to see if we can all go an entire winter without catching a bad cold or the flu. I

This past week we all got really sick and had a horrible cold with the worst dry-painful cough we had ever experienced. My husband was given a prescription Robitussin for the cough. Me and the kids were trying all kinds of home remedies for the cough like teas, raw honey, rubs of peppermint and eucalyptus oil, etc. We were also recommended another homeopatic syrup, which is also supposed to be very safe (Chestal Honey). None of the home remedies provided a real relief. Then my husband brought home "Umcka ColdCare". He started taking it and tossed away the Robitussin, this was much better. Then I tried it, and I felt immediate relief. I was hesitant to give it to my 4 year old, because the bottle states is for kids 6 years and older (The formula I got does contain alcohol). Then I found out they also carry an alcohol-free version and a Children's formula for kids 2 and older. This has been a miracle to us! Nothing else seemed to get rid of our cough and this worked immediately for all of us.

Natures Way Pau D'Arco Review

I have found that this works very well with Echinacea for Upper Respiratory Infections, Urinary Tract Infections and against Candida [yeast infections]. We have also used Pau d'Arco as a second line of immunity defense when one is frequently exposed to annoying pathogens from schools, work etc., in essence taking this with Licorice, Echinacea, Elderberry or Berberine containing herbs. Some people looking for immunity boasting effects to maintain wellness rotate this with other herbs such as Cat's Claw, Echinacea or Oregon Grape, a couple weeks at a time each because it is mild enough and reasonably priced. I save Astragalus for that job since it can be taken indefinitely and has other adoptogenic effects that I feel enhance my personal health which like everyone's is an individual matter.
In general, I have found Pau D'Arco to greatly enhance the efficacy of Echinacea in particular and works well without interactions with most herbal medicines.
This Pau d'Arco by 'Nature's Way' has no nasty side effects and I generally take 2 capsules 3-4x daily for about a week along with Echinacea or Licorice or Goldenseal. Buying this NOW product is actually cheaper than buying the raw herb and making capsules yourself. This of course is a great reason to buy this product. In addition, this Pau D'Arco is from the inner bark which is the most medicinally effective part of the tree, so it also has the distinction of actually working which can not be said for all pau d'arco products sold by many other manufacturers who use a variety of parts of the Pau D'Arco tree [like the roots or outer bark] in their products.
I have found this Nature's Way Pau D'Arco to be at least comparable to the 'Now' product in medicinal effect. They are the best brands of Pau D'Arco I have found, and I purchase them according to their availability and price since I consider them otherwise equal in every way.
ABOUT VENDORS: I have good experience here with both the Vitamin Shoppe and Swanson. In this particular case, Swanson offers this Nature's Way product at the lowest price I have found on-line.
