(More customer reviews)I am a massage therapist and have enthusiastically used this product for the past 2 years (Very Emollient Body Lotion, Original Unscented, by Alba). It feels clean & pure. It's unscented, animal friendly, works beautifully for massage, and has never caused an allergic reaction for my clients. I recently ordered 2 gallons and though the purchase and delivery process went perfectly, the actual product was very disappointing. It just smells weird. It's not exactly that it smells rancid, but it's VERY different than usual. I am going to try to return this product but shipping is going to cost a bundle and I am not optimistic that if I order replacements the new product will be any better. What a bummer!

(More customer reviews)I'm pretty much allergic to everything. Every soap I've tried bothers me. I tried this stuff and I don't seem to be allergic to it. I give this 4 stars because it smells really good when you use it but after you get out of the shower you can't really smell anything. It doesn't dry out my skin and it cleans my skin better than regular soap.

Morover, due to its enriched, moisturizing formula, this body wash does not dry out one's skin. In fact, it leaves it feeling smooth and silky soft all year round. One should also try the other scents in which it is available, as they are also pleasing to the senses. At this inexpensive price, one cannot go wrong in doing so.
