(More customer reviews)This tooth powder effectively remineralizes teeth! It has improved mine significantly- gotten rid of sensitivity and helped shrink brown spots where enamel was disappearing (very scary). Also, vitamin K2 (in conjunction with calcium and D3) is essential for anyone wishing to strengthen bones and teeth... The whitening version of this tooth powder whitened my teeth dramatically. I was contemplating getting my teeth whitened professionally but I'm very happy I didn't- this was all that was needed. It was like getting a new set teeth.
As far as taste, I had no problem with it. First, I don't actually enjoy the taste of conventional toothpastes. Second, taste isn't the primary reason I'm putting this in my mouth and brushing my teeth. Cinnamon is probably my favorite flavor. LemonLime is pretty intense.
Overall, excellent product that does what it claims. Very, very thankful for it.

I've been using it with continuing healing of my family's gums and was in the process of reordering when I saw the review saying there's sodium benzoate in it and looked at the label and it's not there. I wonder why that person lied... anyway, the scientific research at universities showed rapid healing of gums with folic acid and this is one of the only ones that has it.

VITA-MYR Zinc Plus Toothpaste 4 oz Review

(More customer reviews)Bought a one ounce tube of the Vita -Myr Zinc Plus herbal toothpaste at my local healthfood store. It cleans teeth and mouth quite well, without the burning feeling associated with normal toothpaste. It does make a temporary and slight numb feeling in the mouth which fades in minutes. The numb feeling is a fun effect. I really do enjoy it so much that it encourages me to always brush my teeth 3 times a day, whereas before with other toothpastes, I would only brush 1-2 times a day. It also doesn't have any of the unhealthy ingredients found in normal toothpaste, such as fluoride.
The only thing is, it has a taste and smell that makes you think of smells in dentists' offices, and also the smell of 'smoke-eater' candles. I normally find such smells unpleasant, but it could grow on me. I will use the toothpaste until it's all gone, regardless.To summarize, it's good stuff, but smells like a dentist's office or a 'smoke-eater' candle.
