Enzymatic Therapy - Petadolex Fast-Acting, 10 softgels Review

Enzymatic Therapy - Petadolex Fast-Acting, 10 softgels
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have found the ""fast-acting" version of this product to be effective in reducing the severity of a migraine attack, especially if I catch them early, when the symptoms are just arising. But the product packaged as "fast acting" is expensive, coming just 10 to a box for about $1.13 per pill. Since you take 5 pills during an attack--3 right away and the other 2 after some time--that's only enough for two episodes. Having studied the labels of both versions, it appears to me that the "pro-active" and "fast-acting" softgels are exactly the same. The "pro-active" or preventive version, comes 60 softgels to a bottle, and currently costs 45 cents per pill. The only detectable difference is the packaging: The fast-acting version comes with each pill individually sealed. For this reason, I keep a box of the fast-acting in my car, figuring it's better protected from weather extremes, but keep a bottle of the less expensive pro-active version in my medicine cabinet for use if an attack occurs at home. I did use the pro-active on a daily basis for a year or so but was not convinced doing so reduced the frequency of migraines. But as someone else said, our bodies and experiences with medications are different.

Tiger Balm Ultra Pain Relieving Ointment by Haw Par Healthcare - 1.7 oz (50g) Review

Tiger Balm Ultra Pain Relieving Ointment by Haw Par Healthcare - 1.7 oz (50g)
Average Reviews:

I had for about a week the garden-variety lower back pain that comes from ridiculously forgetting one has a back and that it can be strained, when I was looking for something else in my cabinet and ran across a container of sport tiger balm. Oh, the wondrous feeling when you apply it and it cools and soothes those aching muscles! From then on I used it 3-4 times a day and in no time my back was back to normal. I don't find the smell as strong as some other products and I had it on my clothes, pajamas and bed and the smell just discipates. I ordered another to have on hand now...don't ever want to be without it.

Twinlab Nature's Herbs Feverfew Leaf 380mg, 100 Capsules (Pack of 3) Review

Twinlab Nature's Herbs Feverfew Leaf 380mg, 100 Capsules (Pack of 3)

I take one in the morning, one in the evening, and I get about 1/2 the migraines I did before. Riboflavin and inderol have been added to my kit since I started feverfew, but feverfew was the first prophylactic I started taking and it made the most dramatic difference. Your mileage may vary of course, and talk to your doctor.

Olbas(Penn Herb) - Olbas Inhaler, 1 stick Review

Olbas(Penn Herb) - Olbas Inhaler, 1 stick

Great product I've been using for years. I have bad sinus problems that also do require OTC and prescription meds, but it's great to have a natural product that feels good and gives relief.
It won't replace the antihistamines and steroidal sprays, but this soothes the sinuses, from nasal passages all the the way deep into the sinuses. Some days it is enough by itself. And it can help relieve some of that sinus pain/pressure. Since it's not a drug, can use as often as you like and stop when you want without nasal "bounce-back."

Source Naturals Hangover Formula Review

Source Naturals Hangover Formula
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Hi, I found Source Natural Hangover Formula (SNHF) several years ago after reading an article about how vitamin B especially is used up somehow in alcohol metabolism, or at least the % B in the blood drops after drinking, and that headaches assoicated with hangovers relates to vitamin Bs. I tried SNHF at the recommendation of a vitamin store person and it works, eliminating headaches. My wife and I both take 2 or 3 tabs before going out for a meal when we know we will have wine or other alcohol. WE don't drink much but we both will get a headache and hangover now if we forget to take SNHF, but do not have a hangover if we remember to take it. It works, and I keep it around just in case. And it is a lot less expensive online (about half price) from Amazon than buying it at the local store.
