(More customer reviews)I've been taking these particular calcium tablets for years. I like the flavor of them. Not too sweet, not too chalky. Was put on thyroid medication which can cause bone loss, so I decided to try to counter balance with these. Another plus that most people don't realize is that calcium will help you get a good night's sleep, sort of like that warm glass of milk. Two an hour or two before bed and you'll sleep like a baby! (At least a nice quiet baby who actually sleeps through the night and doesn't wake up screaming every two hours.) If you're looking for calcium, give this one a shot.

(More customer reviews)I really like calcium citrate because you don't need to take it with meals. And the chewable form means it's a nice little sweet candy to suck on during the day. I would call the flavor "tropical berry". I definitely taste pineapple. Two tablets give you 50% of your RDA of calcium, magnesium, and D3. That serving contains 4g carbs and 2g of sugars. It's sweetened with stevia, sorbitol, fructose and OJ concentrate. So I would think it's glycemic value is pretty low.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the magnesium component is magnesium oxide, and not the more bioavailable citrate.

THE MAIN ATTRACTION IS THE LIQUID GELS THAT WILL BE ABSORBED AND NOT GIVE SOME THE CALCIUM BURN THAT I FELT WITH THE LARGE DIGESTIVE PILLS THAT SEEMED TO LAY IN MY STOMACH AND HOPEFULLY FULLY DISSOLVED AND WERE ABSORBED VS NOT DIGESTING AND NOT ABSORBING. I WAS NOT AWARE OF CALIUM LIQUID GELS AND HAD TO GIVE THEM A TRY.
