After hearing about a study on the Duke and the Doctor ( [...] ) talk show which revealed how volunteers with no GERD, acid reflux, or digestive issues were given an acid reducing pill (I think it was the purple pill) then stopped taking it, almost 80% had to go back on it because they had developed acid reflux issues. This made me REALLY want to get off Prilosec. The recommendation was to take Stomach Formula by Vita Logic. So, about six weeks ago, I stopped taking Prilosec and started taking Stomach Formula two times a day (morning and night). I couldn't believe it worked! I still take a couple of Gaviscon every now and then, but I have not taken a Prilosec in almost two months!! I am very satisfied with the results.
