(More customer reviews)I recently found out that using the Flush-Free version of Niacin does not have any cholesterol-reducing properties. I have corresponded with some of my online friends; and they have confirmed that the "non Flush-Free" Niacin helped them reduce their cholesterol. The "non Flush-free" produces a heat rush and intense itching for most people. I have found that it doesn't last more than an hour and the incidence lessens the more your body gets used to it. I make no medical claims for this product; and you should always check with your doctor before using any supplements to make sure that they don't interact with any other prescription and non-prescription drugs/supplements that you may be taking.
I found that the GNC brand was cheaper than the brand name of Niacin that was carried at my local Walmart. All the other Niacin that they carried was Flush-free.
