Red Yeast Rice is essentially the same ingredient in Lipitor and others. Consequently, my doctor tells me that the liver values should be checked routinely. This combination is so wonderful because it not only contains Red Yeast Rice, but also CoQ10, which helps protect the heart and a nice dose of omega oils, which are extremely good for you for many reasons, including heart function.
This is a great combination and 180 caps for $30.00 is a good price.
Wish it were available directly from Amazon and not a third-party vendor. I ordered something else from Red Tag, and it was not as expected and I had to return it.
Swanson has a good price on the 90 caps. My doc recommended that I start with just one cap per day.
