(More customer reviews)I recommend that you go to DEVA's website[...] in order to see that they're not some huge, multibillion dollar corporation that stuffs their magic pills down the gullet holes of unwitting consumers.
Instead, DEVA is a wellness-focused company that supports non-profit organizations and co-ops that benefit both human and non-human animals.
The reason my review is about the company instead of the specific product, is because a vitamin is a vitamin is a vitamin (except for the fact that these are low cost and void of any animal-derived ingredients).
There are many vegans who don't support supplements, and that's all fine and good, but I know I've had days (sometimes weeks...especially before becoming a vegan) where I simply don't eat very well. The occasional fried snack, the late-night microwave meal, any of the several ways to prepare a Boca burger with limited nutritional value...
Sometimes you just need some vitamins. And it's not a bad routine to get into, regardless of your eating habits. Isn't it nice to know that this particular one is not only geared towards vegetarians, but it is also purely vegan, itself (note: just because a vitamin is labeled vegetarian doesn't mean it doesn't have gelatin or that its vitamin D isn't from lanolin or the like)? There's no label-reading with these. Plus, you're supporting a company that is immersed in the very same movement of education and consumer/producer transparency that you as a vegan (or even just as a consumer) can benefit from learning more about.
Great vitamin, great company, great concept.
