(More customer reviews)I use these for my 4 year old, who does already know how to swallow a pill. I first bought the 1200mg regular fish oil from a local store, and they were so huge that I couldn't even swallow them! I bought these to see if the "mini" was actually that. I wouldn't necessarily call them mini, but they are considerably smaller than the other fish oil capsules by this manufacturer. These are slightly bigger than a tic tac. My only trick with my son is to get him to look down when he tries to swallow (b/c the capsules float to the top, near his throat--easier to swallow).
After comparing the EPA/DHA amounts to the regular, I was pleasantly surprised that this actually had more EPA and similar amounts of DHA, despite its smaller size.
As for the "quality" and effectiveness of the fish oil with this brand, that has yet to be seen. But at least I can actually get this down him! So in my opinion, this is better than nothing at all, LOL!
