About the item.
The l-theanine seems to work best when you know you're going to feel nervous and you take it. It calms you down to feel normal (at baseline). It will not make you feel super calm or anything but it will help for people with anxiety. For some people it might actually make you super calm. It depends on person and how much you take. Make sure to not eat for about one hour before you take the dose and wait for about an hour to eat after you've taken so the amino acid can have full effect. Take vitamin b6 and vitamin c to help.
