(More customer reviews)My goal this year was to get in shape, but I lacked energy especially around four and five in the afternoon. I'd been seeing advertisements for FRS Healthy Energy products and thought I've give it a go. The big deal about FRS is it contains quercetin. If you are like me and had no clue what the word means, quercetin is a natural antioxidant found in blueberries, red onions, apples and cocoa. This antioxidant is supposed to help extend your body's natural adrenaline as well as neutralizes the oxidants in your body that cause fatigue. Although this is targeted towards the athletic types, everyone who suffers from low energy should benefit.
In theory, this sounds like the perfect cure. My biggest concern was the added caffeine, which is listed in the "Other Ingredients" on the bottom of the package. The plus side, is that this product contains a high amount of Vitamin C (120.00 mg 200%), Vitamin E (60.00 IU 200%), Thiamin (1.50 mg 100%), Riboflavin (1.70 mg 100%), Niacin (20.00 mcg 100%), Vitamin B-6 (2.00 mg 100%), Vitamin B-12 (6.00 mcg 100%). If you are already taking a multi-vitamin, read the labels carefully and compare what you are already taking to this. I wasn't taking anything else.
The first couple of days, I notice a serious boost of energy. When it faded, I wondered if it was the caffeine. Who knows? I knew upfront this product wouldn't cure lazy-butt syndrome. I wanted this for the quercetin. What I got was that as well as key vitamins and green tea leaf extract.
So how does it taste? I loved the taste of this one as well as the Pomegranate Blueberry. There is a vitamin (ish) taste as well, but the Pineapple Mango is so potent, it rather overpowers the other.
To sum it up, this product is pricey. Shop around on Amazon to see who has the best prices. Personally, I love the taste. I do feel a difference when taking it, but can't tell if this is physical or psychological.
