(More customer reviews)L-Methionine is one of the medications they use for people who have liver poisoning or Tylenol (liver damage). This is one of the reasons I bought it, my liver is failing from years of Chemotherapy and chronic (high) Tylenol use. While I am NOT a doctor and cannot claim that this "saves lives" it HAS helped my liver begin to regenerate some and ease some of my symptoms. I am still under the care of a Hepatologist (Liver specialist) but if you have ANY kind of liver damage or problem (Cirrhosis, fatty liver, chemotherapy damage, etc) then this is a product that certainly cannot hurt.
I received my product very quickly, and Source is a good company. This is NOT a pill but a powder, it has virtually NO taste at all and you can mix it with a smoothie, or a bit of applesauce or even sugar free pudding or yogurt. I give Amazon and Source a 5 star rating on this product. I use 1-2 tsp per day and usually mix it with a smoothie, then take Milk Thistle and N-Acetyl-Cysteine (3 times a day). If you have ever had Chemotherapy, or used any kind of drugs (or alcohol) or have a bad liver, these products can help some damage from spreading and (hopefully) help with some liver regeneration or at least increased Glutathione (GSH) production in your liver.
