(More customer reviews)I'm one of those who has difficulty swallowing pills. About the only thing I can swallow whole is a Sudafed or Tylenol Gel caps. I've always wanted to take something like Centrum but those pills are like horse pills to me which is why when I saw these on my pharmacy's shelves, I grabbed them.
I was very disappointed to find (after already taking quite a few) that they contained Aspartame. I was shocked that a company like Centrum, who's reputation about being health conscious and only using things that are good for your body, would use such an ingredient.
I admit that scientists have said that at normal consumption levels, Aspartame has not been shown to be harmful however I don't think I want to take chances with an additive like that. While others may be fine consuming Aspartame, I was not and thought I should warn others that this product contains it (since it does not mention it anywhere on this site.)

(More customer reviews)There are many things about this specific page that are misleading, and the product ingredients for Super Acerola Plus are totally misleading.
First, the Amazon search engine comes up with this product when you type in acerola vitamin C. "Super Acerola Plus 500mg - 250 - Chewable by American Health" When you click on the link, however, you get a picture of Chewable Super Acerola Plus Natural Vitamin C 500 mg on the "left" side of the page but "Super Papaya Enzyme Plus by American Health" at the top of the page.
You then have to mouse over the "250 wafer" box in order to get the Super Acerola Plus information. Then although the papaya stays at the top, the product description changes.
Then the Super Acerola Plus is described as "Does Not Contain: Yeast, Corn, Wheat, Dairy, Salt, Starch, Soy, Preservatives, Artificial Color And Flavor. No Animal Or Fish Derivatives." So then you you assume you know what's not in the product, no further reading necessary.
However, then comes this statement:
Disclaimer: This website is for informational purposes only. Always check the actual product label in your possession for the most accurate ingredient information due to product changes or upgrades that may not yet be reflected on our web site.
How can the buyer know what's there? Buy the product, get it home. Guess what? You can't use it. Too bad.
The ingredients listed on the product page for Super Acerola Plus are: Citrus Bioflavonoids Complex, Rose Hips, Acerola, Raspberry Ext., Black Currants, Hesperidin complex, Rutin, Green Pepper, Buckwheat, Sucrose and Glucose.
Again no Corn. However one of the main ingredients listed on the actual product label is corn syrup. And the buyer can't even tell whether the corn syrup is GMO, or not.
BTW: in case you thought you were actually getting Acerola C based on the label, the product actually contains, Vitamin C (as Ascorbic acid and Rose Hips) 500 mg. Acerola 5 mg. Citrus Bioflavonoids 2 mg. (fruit)
In the U.K. and Ireland you can buy organic Acerola powder.

They don't hurt her stomach & we don't have to break them in half. The flavor definitely needs improved; it tastes a bit mediciney and not very chocolatey. She's happy to take them anyway.

Spectrum Essential Children's DHA Chewable Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased these because of concern about possible mercury content reported in the DHA supplements derived from fish oil. This is a supplement for brain and eye development, so why take the chance of mercury?
My two year old daughter and three year old son love the taste. In fact, these are sometimes used as rewards to get them to eat dinner. They will gladly eat several broccoli sprigs, spinach spanikopita, or some carrots in order to receive one, little DHA ball.
We give our younger daughter up to two per day with meals, and our three year old son up to three per day with meals per the instructions.
So far, their brains have not grown to enormous proportions, so I'm not sure if DHA really helps kids or not.
The problem: The company that ships these via the Amazon website is really slow to process the orders, then ships them via USPS. For anyone who is Amazon Prime and accustomed to the great shipping terms, this will seem like it takes forever. It has been TWO WEEKS since I placed an order, and the bottles have not yet arrived. It took the company until February 15th to process and notify me of shipment for an order placed on February 4th. Now, the Post Office has it ... oh boy ;(

Also, these multis are at a nice price... They are one tablet per serving - sometimes it looks like you're getting a great deal on 180 tablets and then you find out the serving size is 6 tablets per day!
The vitamin and mineral variety is pretty standard, and, overall, this item seems to be a nice supplement to a healthy way of eating.

After looking for alternatives to solve this problem I found these VitaCraves. They taste amazing! Makes you want to either buy some gummie bears or eat more that you should of these ; ) My only gripe is that they do not have calcium, where those nasty chewy chocolate ones do.....but these taste way better so I do a few days of these and throw in a day of the chewy bad chocolate ones. Also, you might want to look at your local grocery store first however. At mine these are $8.99 a bottle, unlike here where its like $10.50 plus shipping. I also found it humerous that ONE-A-DAY made these and the "serving size" or recommended dosage (whatever) is TWO a day...made me laugh : )

(More customer reviews)I wish that every time I get sick I remember I have this in the cupboard. I usually don't remember until I start feeling really desperate for relief. (I prefer to avoid medication when possible.)
A friend across the street turned me onto this a few years ago. I was skeptical until I took it. It cut my symptoms in half, and seemed to greatly speed up my recovery. I'm writing this review because today I was about to go to the doctor. I was digging in my medicine box for some ibuprofen, and found my Esberitox. It's only been a few hours and I feel much better. I'll go to the doctor tomorrow if I get worse, but I doubt I'll have to go.
If you get a cold, you should try this at least once, because once is all it takes to get hooked! Oh, and don't worry about buying the bigger box. It won't be long until you're passing this out to your friends. Over the years, about 1/2 my Esberitox has been shared with friends and family, the same way my neighbor across the street hooked me!
