(More customer reviews)I make it a point to order Solgar protein powders ever since I read in Consumer Report that it is one of the purest. A lot of the other commercial and well-known whey powders have heavy metals in it (mercury and arsenic, oh yes!)and then also in amounts that are dubious in safety. Even then, I don't care how negligible the governments rates are, I do NOT want arsenic in my protein powder. Considering how often we consume this product, you must be vigilant.
Solgar powders dissolve well (I use milk) and taste delicious (such as the cocoa bean chocolate flavor), so since I love caramel, I tried the Chocolate Caramel flavor, and could not drink it. The caramel does not taste like caramel and overpowers whatever chocolate flavor. The price is also high for Solgar products (in my opinion) but it certainly pays when it comes to putting safe ingredients in your body.
