However, the doctor advised me to wait a couple of years before having knee replacement surgery. I started MSM every day (the powdered kind, in capsules, which is better absorbed than tablets). After a couple of months I realized how much better my knee felt. At some point I gave up the cane altogether. Aside from an occasional twinge in wet weather, my knee feels just about normal! There's a lot of documentation on the 'net about the benefits of MSM (organic sulphur). For me, it's a staple nutrient. Solaray has a good reputation in the nutrient field, and so I would recommend this choice.
