(More customer reviews)Although Agave Nectar is more expensive that regular sugar, it has a low glycemic index rating, which makes it perfect for those who have problems with high glycemic foods, and need to reduce their consumption. Though not diabetic, I have problems with high tri-glycosides which are considered as part of your total cholesterol level, and I must reduce my consumption of high glycemic foods. This fits the bill.
You can satisfy your sweet tooth without increasing your intake of high glycemic foods.
