I probably should have started with the Afirm 1X, since it can irritate a bit, but I apply nightly for 2 nights, take one night off (I do a gentle facial peel to get rid of the dead skin on that night), then repeat the cycle. I have some scarring due to blemishes and ingrowns, and after a week, everyone has noticed how smooth and bright my skin is. One week!!! My makeup applies better, and I am a happy, happy camper. With continued use, I hope the scars will fade away.
