(More customer reviews)I took this product according to the directions on the bottle for about 5 months, and it provided barely enough improvement for me to tell a difference.
Then I switched my moisturizer to one called CeraVe Lotion (which contains ceramides) and started using it twice a day on my face, neck, and arms. It made a HUGE difference within a week, more than these pills did in almost half a year! I haven't ordered any more of the pills, because they cost more than a bottle of CeraVe and get used up way quicker.
In a nutshell: Do you want more ceramides for your skin? Then don't swallow them, put them on your skin! There are several brands of good ceramide-based lotion, including some that you can buy cheaply at any drugstore.
Note: My rating for this product was not based on comparing it to the lotion; it got 2 stars on its own merits. The pills did produce an improvement (thus deserving more than 1 star) but it was only minimal improvement, and I paid way too much for such scarce results. So they get the next-to-the-lowest rating, not the lowest rating.
