(More customer reviews)I've read that zinc is good for the common cold and sore throat. Zinc is also a good supplement to have for general health. When I start feeling like a sore throat or a cold is coming on, I take a couple of these at the first sign. Sometimes the sore throat goes away. If I end up having a cold, which is rare, I take these during a cold and it helps, along with some other vites and herbs. I think it helps with coughing, too.
