Like myself ( I get by with bran), my child is prone to constipation, and Yummi Bears is a very easy and effective way to get relief, as well as maintaining regularity. PROS: I don't have to fight my child to take Yummi Bears, unlike the other products mentioned above. It is gentle-acting, not a fast, harsh laxative that can cause belly aches and cramps and sprints to the toilet. CONS: Yummi Bears tatse just like Gummi Bears candy, so your kid might want to eat more than just the 4 max per day, and will pester you like crazy! On some days, it makes my child a little gassy, but this is better than passing hard, painful stools otherwise.
Please consult your pediatrician if your child suffers from chronic constipation. If your doctor recommends a fiber supplement, let them know about Yummi Bears Fiber.
