However, caffeine is very bitter when isolated, and Guarana extract has a slightly sweet, slightly bitter, nutty taste. When you add it to water it will get a little cloudy (I believe this is because of oils dispersing?). One dose gives things a very light caffeine kick. I need about three doses before I notice a difference. Taking it straight is pretty brutal and by itself it doesn't taste that good. Mix it into juice or some hot water with sugar and it's pretty decent.
