(More customer reviews)I have given this to my dogs, labs, when they are on antibiotics and it seems good; I don't know if they would have gotten a super infection with out using the probiotics, but I use the human Jarrow probiotic Jarrow Formulas Jarro-dophilus EPS, 120 Capsules when I am on an anitbiotic. I think they are an excellent laboratory and their milk thistle was given an excellent write-up by the American Cancer society for being the only milk thistle they tested to actually contain the right ammount of silymarin. An important reason why I think this is the best animal probiotic is that there is no asperigillus in it. Aspergillus is a mold that can cause significant infections in dogs and humans and probably cats noses; there are some companies, that are highly regarded, that have aspergillus, in a powder fowm and I would highly recommend not ever using one of those companies.
Remember with all probiotics/yogurts to not take other medications within 5 or so hours (for all animals)((including human animals)) because the billions of starving bacteria will eat the medication/vitamin/antibiotic before it gets into your bloodstream rendering it useless.
