Our Mini Schnauzer always becomes bloated, uncomfortable, fat and downright lethargic if he's on regular dog food, so we must keep him on a special diet for overweight dogs, plus the two powders. Within a week after starting this regimen he was feeling so much better and his large distended tummy was greatly reduced. Our little Max was obviously much perkier and willing to run and play again, because his discomfort was magically cleared up. These types of powder additives are good for healthy dogs too -- they aid in digestion and that's always a good thing, right?
The ActiPet is fairly concentrated, so you need very little each day. For example, our dog is around 22 pounds, so he gets 1/2 teaspoon a day total, divided into two doses -- 1/4 teaspoon with each small meal. One bottle will last a long time -- and it's so worth a little extra effort to keep your beloved pet healthy and happy. The added benefit is no more of those noxious doggy gaseous back-end emissions, if you catch my drift. That alone was worth the price!
