(More customer reviews)My friend used this product to help speed healing of the small intestine which had been damaged by years of inflammation due to wheat/gluten sensitivities, subsequent lactose intolerance, then development of egg allergies and finally mucocutaneous lupus. We had to figure all this out on our own as most doctors don't even recognize food allergies or the major damage they can do to the small intestine. Most GI docs only concentrate on the colon or large intestine. Read Elains Gottschall's book, Breaking the Vicious Cycle, where she describes her theories and how she cured her daughter of Chrohn's. It's called the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. It was the final piece of the puzzle we needed to effect a reversal of chronic diarrhea and other digestive complaints that had lasted for years. Permeability Factors if cutting edge nutrition and helps heal the lining of the intestine much faster than normal. It has been 5 months now and we have been able to add most restricted foods back into her diet with no problem.
