(More customer reviews)I was having shortness of breath and severe chest pain....thought it was a heart attack. Went to ER and spent 3 days in the hospital. They ruled out heart problems. Went to a GI dr. and he said it was an esophageal spasm. He prescribed Nitro pills for the chest pain and a "GI cocktail", which is lidocane and a mixture of antacids that numb/calm the esophagus. That worked, but only lasted an hour. A nurse friend of mine researched online and found that peppermint oil pills have an anti spasm effect, so she recommended I get these pills. I went to a local health food store and paid $17.50 for the bottle and the very first day I took the pills, my spasms were GONE! A miracle pill!!!!! I buy them by the case now and take 3 a day and have no more problems. It says they're also good for IBS as well.
