My family doctor told me I had acid reflux and put me on acid blockers (Prilosec, Protonix) for three years and every time I tried to get off of it, I felt the acid coming up in my throat and my stomach hurt. I knew my body was used to taking the acid blockers and I also knew what the acid blockers do - they stop your stomach from producing acid. So, when you try to get off of any of the acid blockers, what does your body do? It produces more acid and it makes you very uncomfortable.
Well, Mastica is the answer. I took this for about two months along with Rhizinate® and my symptoms of acid reflux went away! I also stopped drinking coffee and watched what I ate.
This is a great product for a natural remedy for acid reflux and it actually helps heal the stomach lining. It's a natural product from the bark of a tree in Greece and has been used in Greece for thousands of years! I would recommend this to anyone suffering from acid reflux.
