Also, my PMS irritability has seemed to disappear. There are no side effects to speak of. This product doesn't contain anything that will interact with prescription meds. Herbs For Kids Valerian Super Calm Alcohol-Free Review

All sorts of powerful medicines (one of which, Clonodine, had very bad effects on his blood pressure so I really wanted to get him off of that one ASAP) have been used with varying results. I am not a big fan of herbal products but after checking out every ingredient in this product to be sure that
1) it was safe for kids
2) that none of these ingredients would conflict with his Bi-Polar medications
I tried it out.
It works great. We give it to him 15 minutes before he has to be asleep and sure enough, he is sleeping like a baby in 15 minutes. He is 12 1/2 years old and before this we would have to fight and fight to get him to even lay down. I would walk past his room at 12 or 1 AM and he would still be awake. No more! Now he goes to sleep and stays asleep all night (unless he drinks too much water or milk before bedtime, then he will wake up to go to the bathroom and go right back to sleep).
One point, don't believe the claim that the kids will love the taste. This stuff tastes bad and smells even worse, but when we ask him if he wants to skip a night he begs to have us give it to him because he likes the rest he is now getting. Now all they need to do is make it taste better and get rid of the smell and there will be nothing more to complain about. Also, the instructions say to give it three times a day. Forget that. It is not effective during the day for "calming". Perhaps this is due to the Bi-Polar meds he takes but for bedtime it works super... three drops and he is fast asleep. We are on our second bottle now and I am about to order two more 2 ounce bottles right now, because I don't want to run out.

If you're like me and suffer a systematic case of the downs every now and then and need a little boost, this product seems to be really helping. It is especially recommended to those that wish to take a multi herb formula for occasional depression, rather than a handful of other individual recommended supplements available. This is the very best I have found in that regard. Although some other reviewers have mentioned taking happy camper only when they need it, (citing a proposed lack of ineffectiveness if taken every day), I choose to take the recommended daily dose in any event. It is my opinion that taken daily provides the formula its best chance at continuous effectiveness for us. I highly recommend this product to anyone with slight to moderate depression. Or, if you just need something to get you over an occasional case of the blahs. Its very reasonably priced. Try it..

(More customer reviews)I've been using Relora for two weeks, and have lost 4.2 lbs so far. I was reluctant to try this product, but a friend recommended it, and based on that (and the fact that the prices here on Amazon are so reasonable) I decided to order it and give it a try. I've been on points-based eating plan for awhile, and I'd lost over 50 lbs until I re-started college last fall (after retiring from a 32-yr career in high tech). I hadn't been inside a classroom since 1978, and the high stress of classes, papers, exams, etc. caused my weight loss to halt, and the increased exercise (stairs, hills, etc. and carrying around 20+ lbs of books) led to a gradual weight gain, despite religiously continuing my diet/exercise routine. Combine that with the fact that I'm past 50, and the old metabolism just isn't what she used to be.
I wasn't expecting much, but almost immediately I noticed that I was sleeping better and within a week I was feeling less "edgy" during the day. My eating habits haven't really changed much -- I was already eating pretty sensibly following the diet plan guidelines, points, etc. -- but some of the cravings have definitely disappeared. I used to crave a sweet snack in the afternoon and evening, and I find I just don't think about it anymore. This actually leaves me with more points to "spend" on healthier fruits, veggies, and protien.
I'm really not easily impressed, and tend to be HIGHLY skeptical of claims made for supplements. There's no such thing as a magic pill, at least not yet. Relora is NOT a magic pill, but if you're already watching what you eat, exercising regularly, and have hit a plateau, this just might help. I would never have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself, but I'm convinced there's something to Relora, and I intend to continue taking it as long as I continue to see results.
