(More customer reviews)My 1 year old, 50lb dog got hold of rat poison and ate a good bit of it. I learnt from the pest control rep that it was a pretty strong type (don't remember what it was called). I could not get my dog to a vet clinic so a Vet instructed me over the phone to give her more than the recommended dose (which he based on her weight and the type of poison) and told me to monitor her closely for internal bleeding...gave me the signs to look for.
After a week, she seemed ok, I was then told to reduce the dose and continue for another 3 weeks (twice a day).
It has been 5+ weeks and my dog is still doing well. This Chewable Vitamin K1 saved my dog's life. It obviously tasted great as I had no problems administering it for the full 4 weeks (twice a day). She showed no signs thus far of poisoning, her energy was good throughout and her appetite was a little weird in week 1 but picked up thereafter.
