MSM is bitter tasting, and actually stinks. But if you mix it with lots of juice, you're golden. The more tart/sour (lemons) the better.
I started juicing lemons (10-15), red grapes (1-2 lbs.), and kale(1/2 a bunch) every day around a year ago. Started adding Now brand MSM powder to it every day, worked up to around 20 grams over a couple of weeks. So in a couple of weeks, it was a half gallon of juice mixed with water and 20 grams of MSM I was taking every day. In just that first two weeks, I saw effects. Felt a bit lighter on my feet, a bit less tired, less prone to headaches, more energy, running on a little more even keel. And as time has gone on, things have only gotten better. My skin is clearer and better looking somehow, my hair is stronger and healthier, I gain physical strength quicker when my body is adjusting to new physical work, I can walk longer distances without getting tired, I am much better in the summer Texas heat than I used to be. Oddly, I don't retain as much water during my time of the month anymore. I haven't had one cold this year (I used to have one or two each year). Sleep is more restful. I also don't have as bad cramps as I used to. And I FEEL better, all the way around now. (I know from past experience that the juice was only *part* of the reason for the improvements, NOT most of the reason.)
Negative side effects: occasional flatulence of an offensive nature.
It is not a panacea, but I believe that it can improve health and well-being for a good many people, as it has for me. This is a very pure product, and a respectable brand. I highly recommend it.
