Her research led her to recommend Thorne vitamins as a superior vitamin supplement. I did no personal research but based my opinion of Thorne products on her research and that of my naturopath (also recommends Thorne) and Bastyr Natural Health in Seattle (also uses Thorne products). I have taken Thorne products since the 90's. I take the full dosage. I am in excellent health at age 62. I eat a nutritious diet as well. Vitamins are not a substitute for healthy eating, but an addition to a healthy diet. I believe Thorne products are far superior to drug-store vitamins based on the research of the medical professionals I have interacted with.
