(More customer reviews)though i take various other herbs and supplements, i tried this since my enzymes were about 500 each (ALT 600 or so and AST 450 or so). i drink heavy and was taking Rx percocet after my gallbladder removal, which is maily why my liver was in such 'rough shape' as my doctor said (he said i had 'alcoholic hepatitis' not viral and bacterial. i cut down just a little on the drinking and don't take anything w/ tylenol anymore and i recently had the best liver results in a few years. i can't attribute the improvement to these pills alone, but for the price they're definitely worth adding to your regimen if you want to make your liver happier.
also, i don't believe i've ever taken milk thistle (these pills don't have milk thistle), but i just now purchased Jarrow Formulas - Silymarin 80%, 150 mg, 100 capsules from The Vitamin Shoppe through Amazon. I always get good service from them w/ great prices (and only $.99. shipping on most items). My gets to MA from NJ sometimes only 48 hours after I place it.
