(More customer reviews)On the advice of a friend, I purchased this product and one other, a liquid extract of Elderberry )by Swansons), to use at the first symptoms of a cold or sore throat. One teaspoon of Elderberry Extract and one dropperful of liquid Echinachea, twice daily, may help stave off a cold or virus. I have tried this method twice, and each time it has stopped the infection before it got a foothold. Now, I fully realize that two instances do not amount to an overwhelming tide of evidence; however, I am convinced personally that this method works, and I will continue to take it at the first sign of a cold. The key is starting the therapy early - at the very first symptoms.
