(More customer reviews)After reviewing some promising reports about methylcobalamin B-12 injections by parents of autistic children, I started seeking that treatment for my autistic son as well. Problem is, I do not have a pediatrician who supports my effort to cure my son's autism via biomedical treatments. His regular pediatrician refused to write a prescription, saying that there was not sufficient evidence for the effectiveness of B-12 injections in treating autism (which is not true). [...].
Knowing that methy B-12 cannot be easily absorbed via intestinal wall, I was not very interested initially. But after reviewing tons of positive feedback from customers who tried this product, I decided to give it a try. 5000 mcg is 83,333% of daily value. This seems ok as there is no known side effects in taking B-12 in a large quantity. This supplement is designed to be consumed once every few days, not everyday. It seems a bit of a challenge for my son to keep this under his tongue until it dissolves completely; in fact, he often swallows while the lozenge is still relatively big. I just started this treatment so I haven't seen a difference in my son yet, but many reviewers report that they started seeing positive change after a while, so I continue to observe any reactions.
The taste is pleasant and easy to keep in your mouth, though it takes 20 min or so to completely dissolve. You can buy this Jarrow Formulas, Methyl B-12, 5000 mcg, 60 Lozenges [...]. [...].
