(More customer reviews)My husband had sinus surgery a few months ago. His doctor had us buy a waterpik to irrigate his sinuses. My husband travels a lot for work. Lugging a huge waterpik around the world in his suitcase was not an option. The "portable" waterpik-like devices had much too strong a flow to use for the sinues. I bought this product so that my husband could irrigate while on the road. After a two-week trip abroad, my husband ditched the waterpik and uses only this device.
The tip creates a seal around the edge of the nose, so water does not escape...it just pushes through the sinus cavity. The whole process is much less messy and noisy than using a waterpik or similar device.
My husband took his Nasaline with him on a followup appointment with his doctor. His doctor was so enthused with this ingenious device that he is encouraging his patients to consider this in lieu of using the waterpik.
I also purchased one for my personal use during "sinus weather". No sinus infections for me!
