(More customer reviews)I bought this product for my aging cat, who was very stiff and arthritic. She could barely get up and down the stairs, could no longer jump on the furniture, and was having trouble even walking.
I had been told that glucosamine treatment takes time to work and it was 6 weeks or so before it made a difference. But what a difference! She recovered completely and spent her remaining years living in comfort.
The only downside is the horrid grape flavoring, which you can smell from across the room. The formula is the same one used for humans, I'm told, and I'm sure the grape flavor is nice for us. But cats HATE it. I resorted to mixing it with other smelly food to disguise the flavor--tuna worked pretty well.
