(More customer reviews)I like taking my Vitamin C is powder form when I'm at home, but when I'm out of the house or on the go, I love Super Gram II. It's BY FAR the best Vitamin C tablet on the market today. It digests perfectly, has zero acidity, and the Vitamin C is in the ascorbated form. Jay Patrick, the founder of this formulation knew his stuff. He lived healthfully into his 90's, despite (from what I've read) didn't eat too healthy of a diet.
The original formulation of Super Gram II (and Super Gram III) used to be HORSE PILLS! They were so big, that I had trouble washing them down. Thankfully, they reduced the size by half. So now a 180 count bottle is only 90 servings of 1000mg of Vitamin C. You're getting half the vitamin C you used to, for the same price. A little bit of a rip-off if you ask me, but regardless of the price, this is still the best Vitamin C tablet you can get, by leaps and bounds. I've tried them ALL, believe me. Even the "Raw" Vitamin C, which is all marketing hype. There's zero scientific data that Vitamin C grown on strains of yeast gets absorbed even 1% better than ascorbated Vitamin C. At last any data that I'm aware of.
Anyway, Super Gram II by Alacer is an unbelievable product, and I honestly believe that if this product was in the medicine cabinet of every home in America, we'd see some radical improvements in health and wellness. If everyone started taking 5,000-10,000mg of Ascorbated Vitamin C a day, oh, what a world we would live in!
