(More customer reviews)It works for me! I use it on my knees and it allows me to walk more than I could otherwise. I use this particular brand (Clinic Services, but bought from herbalremedies.com) and all three bottles I have ever bought were listed right on the bottle as 99.99% DMSO.
My advice is as soon as you get it transfer it to a very clean glass bottle. Then dole out small 1oz amounts into a smaller glass bottle. Reason is DMSO is a magnet for dirt for anything on your fingers or under finger nails and this way you only muck up 1 ounce instead of all 16.
DMSO is very anti-inflammatory for me at least. So mild arthritis in my bad knee is still there but after walking three miles (my daily walk that I am slowly increasing) I feel no pain due to DMSO stifling the inflammation. Now I have to combine this with some Glucosomine and others and see what I get.
I wear shorts when I walk (in the morning) so I apply DMSO before my walk and after my walk.
NEW:
I actually phoned up Clinic Services, they were friendly and helpful. He said the plastic grade they use for the bottle is non-reactive to DMSO. Also that most people tolerate using 99+% DMSO on their skin but if you don't then dilute it down with distilled water to 70-80-90 percent DMSO. This is why you see many DMSO products with only 70% DMSO. I use it at 99.99% without problems.
