(More customer reviews)My naturopath prescribed 10mg DHEA daily, this brand. I ran out and accidently purchased 25mg DHEA and took it daily. Wellllll, after about a month I had a 'rash' on my forehead. Went to doc about my asthma and asked if I was crazy or if there really was a rash on my forehead. Doc said yes and I said I had an appointment with dermatologist in a couple weeks so I'd check in with her if I still had it then. Then I did a little googling and found that DHEA was tied in with Adrenal Gland, hormones, testosterone, steroids..... Acne is a side effect. I stopped taking DHEA and the 'rash' (which was small pimples) cleared up in about 3 weeks AND the incredible energy I had while taking 25mg daily disappeared :( I mean seriously I was up and raring to go at 6AM and I am NOT a morning person. I loved it. Acne VS. Energy, hmmmm. I'm back on the 10mg daily, no acne and no great increase in energy so maybe 15mg daily might be worth a try. I'll check with my naturopath first though.
